>> Listen to the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday.

A couple weeks ago I realized a fundamental truth about life that had never dawned on me before: that there are few things in life as exhilarating as the annual bulky trash pickup.

That reminded me to share a process with you that is one of the very first things I ask my students and clients to do when we start working together.

Any time you want to call something fresh into your life — be it money, love, energy, time or new habits, projects, relationships and opportunities — you can use a Spiritual Strategy we call creating an Intentional Vacuum*.

In nature, vacuums suck things in. Intentional Vacuums attract things in, intentionally.

When you clear out space in your home and get rid of things you’re not using, you jump back into the cycle of life and unstick whatever’s been stagnant.

It’s like putting jumper cables on the flow that is always trying to bring new life and fresh opportunities your way.

Set your phone timer for 7 minutes and grab a garbage bag, then do one of the following tasks:

Clean out your wallet, handbag or backpack.

Clear out one drawer in your dresser, kitchen, bathroom or desk.

Throw out old food in your fridge or freezer.

Clear the clutter or mail off of your kitchen countertops.

Clear the top of your desk or delete 100 emails.

Pull things out of your closet that you don’t absolutely love.

Walk around your house and grab things that are broken, damaged or even unused.

Heads up: this *might* feel so energizing you don’t want to stop.

So if you don’t want to stop when the timer goes off, or if you get inspired to schedule your bulky trash pickup… DON’T STOP.

There are some advanced strategies for using Intentional Vacuums, too.

Want more money? Clean out your purse, and clear your bank account of all those $.99 subscriptions you don’t even remember signing up for in the first place.

Want more time? Clear your calendar of obligations and duties that spark not even one iota of joy.

Oh… and if you should happen to have a really good idea occur to you about your goals or anything else while you’re creating this Intentional Vacuum, WRITE IT DOWN.

Then act on it, as soon as you can.

Because often, what flows into the clear space of your Intentional Vacuum is inspiration.

P.S. Next month, I’m starting my yearlong Inner Circle Mastermind Program for Women Entrepreneurs.

In this program, we integrate Business Coaching and Spiritual Strategy on a yearlong journey into more freedom, profit and contribution.

We’ll even meet twice in person for Mastermind Retreat Days, in Oakland!

If you want to learn more or apply to the program, click here for a 20-minute Discovery Call with someone from my team.

*I first learned this strategy from Florence Scovel Shinn, who wrote about it back in the early 1900s, but I first heard this name for it via Tosha Silver’s book, Outrageous Openness. Hat tips all around.

Head up + heart out,
